    Isolde: realistic pronunciation expectations?

How would Isolde end up being pronounced in the US?

Also, should "is old" be a worry point?

I think most people would pronounce it like "is old." But compared to the teasing potential of other names, I really wouldn't worry about "is old."
Mom to Alexander Patrick (11), Madelyn Esther (8), Genevieve Susan (3), and Theodore James (stillborn at 37 weeks on February 3, 2014). Expecting #5 (a girl!) in May 2015.

Boys: Everett, Sebastian, Augustus, Samuel, Abraham, Elias, Julian, Silas, Nicholas, Desmond, Jasper, Ezekiel
Girls: Bridget, Felicity, Elizabeth, Penelope, Leona, Ophelia, Elodie, Elysia, Callista, Miriam, Isabelle, Delilah

Some might say it a "i sold"

I would say it as "ee sold" is that right? (disclaimer: I took French in college so if I am guessing right, it's not totally by chance...if I'm not, well, I didn't say I speak French!)
