Maybe Kingston? It's a bit of a stretch, I know, but all the right letters are there. Kent and Kenton are near misses, sound-wise, so they might work as well. There's also the option of a Ki- first name followed by a T- middle name. Some other names with strong K & T sounds that might lend themselves to Kit:

    Carleton
    Carrington
    Carter
    Clayton
    Clement/Klement
    Clifton
    Clinton
    Colt/Colton
    Constantine
    Curt/Kurt
Corentin...not an option if you use Cora
    Kermit
    Keaton
    Kestrel
    ----
    Mom to N
    Malcolm, Tristan, Aaron, Garrett, Vincent
    Iris, Bridget, Bonnie, Averill, Petra

Thanks for all the suggestions! So we really can't find any kit names so far that we both absolutely love! So I was thinking, why not use one of the names already on our list? We really like Callen Thomas ... Then he could be Cal or Kit! What do you think?

Kitri is a character in the Don Quixote ballet. I don't know where it comes from, but I think it's a sweet name and might be a more direct route to Kit.
