Six Weeks to Go, and Nary a Name In Sight

    Hello again, Berries!

Time keeps moving and we still can't seem to find the right name for our little girl. Our obstacle: We both come from big families. Five little humans have been welcomed this year, which makes naming tough since everyone is concerned about overlap...

We like names that are two or three syllables, don't have immediate nickname connotations (ie Tori for Victoria), and have that kind of classic, old lady feel. Names we love that were claimed by a family member first: Nora, Clara, Phoebe, Hazel.

Do ya'll have any thoughts? Also, this my seem silly to ask, but be gentle please I've noticed that sometimes on these forums folks can get real passionate and it sometimes comes off as a little harsh...my hormones are out of wack and we're stressed about the name, so I'm in that mommy-to-be sensitive place. Thanks for understanding!

Ainsley and Imogen are two that come to mind that are three syllables and don't have much room for a nickname.

You might like Savannah or Vivian, as well.
