    It is a really sweet name with a cutesy sound, so I think that adds to the nicknamey vibe . I adore it, and I think a longer fallback name would be nice. It's certainly not the worst "nickname name" out there though.

    (just read the responses and I am echoing cheele almost exactly)

    Thanks for all the responses! I originally liked Kiri as a nickname for Kirrily or Kira/Keira, but I wanted to see what everyone thought of just Kiri by itself.
