    Hallie! Besides Halle Berry, I've only ever seen this name spelled Hallie. I think it's the most straight-forward way to spell it pronunciation-wise, since Callie, Allie, Tallie, etc. are usually spelled with -ie at the end. I like it a lot!

    My only concern with Hallie is that it's too nicknamey... Is Halle only berry? Or will people get past that?

    I prefer Hallie. I don't find Hallie any more nicknamey than Hale or Halley, as they all end in the -ie sound. I do think of Halle Berry, and I think a lot of people would mispronounce this name as Hale if not careful.
