I kind of like Sunday. I dont think that a Sunday would be taken less seriously than the countless Kenzies and Kaylees of the world. lWhat about Sunniva?

Yeah in the disney show Sonny with a chance the main character is an Allison.

I like Sunday but prefer Sunniva

I agree, why just not name her Sunny? I don't really like Sunday, but it is not a cruel name. Sunniva would be my choice for the nickname Sunny though.

    Absolutely not cruel!
Why not go with Sunday but then a formal middle name, e.g. Sunday Elizabeth, Sunday Isobel etc. in case as an adult she does feel she'd like something less colourful
(I did this with my kids names)
Mother to three. Awaiting a fourth.

I certanly don't find Sunday "cruel". I think it's just fine. Like the pp said I would definantly choose a classic middle name to go with it, Sunday Catherine or Sunday Abigail perhaps. That said, If it were me I would be probaly use Sunniva, Susanna, or Alison to get the nn Sunny. Savanna could also work.
