Maybe it's one of those names that we choose the pronunciation and then just correct folk when they say it the way they think. Thank you all!!

I believe it's el-IS-ee-ah, in ancient Greek, like Elysium. If it were el-EE-see-ah, it would probably be spelled Elisia. However, most would probably say el-EE-see-ah.http://www.onceuponatimebabynames.com/
