It is my brother's middle name. It works on him and I like it. He is not especially athletic or outgoing at all. He is strong - but not particularly fun/sporty, more powerfully built - and very quiet and easy-going. He is bookish and not very macho ("I don't have time for that bullshit.") though he can fight a bit, particularly defending somebody else.

    I don't really picture a Wolf as a cheery bouncy super-jock.

On the other hand I asked him what he thought of me using Fox as a FN, and he said, "Wolf as a middle name was easier than it would have been as a first."

I like it in the middle. Sebastian Wolf sounds regal.

Safer in the middle spot or as a nickname! You'd need the right kid to pull it off.

A guilty pleasure of mine from the Irish revolutionary Wolfe Tone but i agree with the previous posters; middle name only in the real world.
