    George

    We're thinking about naming our son George. A middle name starting with "S" would be ideal in order to honor my husband's grandfather, Sidney.

    What do you think of George?

    We've thought about George Samuel, George Sidney, or George Segal (which is a family name). I also love George Arthur, but Arthur doesn't start with "S".

    Any other bright ideas?

    George Soren (kind of heavy on the "or" sounds, though)

    I like George Samuel okay. Sidney is the direct honouring, which could be cool but I don't like the name in itself, if you know what I mean.

    I'd go for George Sidney... to me, family history trumps everything. It's great to give a child the legacy of an ancestor's name...
