Bex; only two more weeks! It will be exciting to find out. I love the names in your signature, by the way, Freyja and Astrid are on my middle list .
Kennedi; CONGRATS! And Kellen James is very handsome.
Mila; oh, wow, you live at an actual resort? Interesting. Are you into herbal medicine at all? I can send you a few links to DIY stuff I find useful.
Sarah; I'm glad everything looks good in there! Oh, wear and tear... I never thought about that. Poor you, I hop you get some rest, some nice warm tea (or other warm cosy beverage of your choice) and relief. Three more weeks to decide! Oh, I don't know what I'd do... it depends on how many headaches you want from the girl list, I guess... And hope the dress is coming along nicely!
Tara; oh no!!! That's terrible. I'm sure she's just super excited, but maybe a bit too much? My mother-in-law bought half the clothes in London for Roo (that's my guess anyway, she brought in bag after bag after bag!), but Roo was first granddaughter after a whole big bunch of grandsons. And Martin's great, very cute and funky. Ivy & Martin.
Update from me: I'm back in bed. My back is killing me and I'm so completely exhausted. I vomited for 30 minutes straight last night, fainted and haven't been able to keep anything down since. It's a bug apparently and not pregnancy related, but I still worry. And I'm really depressed at the moment which doesn't help, hopefully just because my body feels like crap, and not because I'm a horrible mum. My parents are coming for a visit tomorrow which is good because I really want to cuddle up in my mummy's lap and just cry an ocean. Yup, I'm gloomy.
Hope everyone's doing greatMy darling Marian Illyria Aphrodite, March 2013 & Little Bunny (a girl!) due 9th of February 2014

@tk - Blah! You called it. Three sisters got married ahead of her and she seems to think it's time to collect her "dues." I mean, she DID help everyone else a lot, but this is ridiculous. I went for making the new dress because she gave me the choice between 2 dresses, both with plunging necklines and alteration problems. When the dress showed up and I really didn't know how to fix it (and yes, I'll admit it, I cried, the bodice on that dress covered the nipples and nothing more), she got mad at me for "choosing a dress you didn't like." Um...excuse me? It's easier to start over with something else that ACTUALLY HAS A BODICE ON IT in the first place than to fix that thing, which apparently you're going to tell people I'm responsible for choosing in the first place. Yeah I don't think so. Arrrrgggghh. Okay, thanks for letting me vent, because I didn't actually tell her that, though maybe I should have. :-P
I think I need pictures or a YouTube vid for fabric slingamajig thing because I didn't quite follow. Good point about things being out of place though, I haven't been over to my chiropractor in about a month. She kept me feeling pretty great last time just with fixing my back and hips so I should schedule over there.
You make me laugh about people thinking you're snobs. Some of the family and a friend or two have mentioned that it drives them crazy that we won't tell our name picks, so maybe it's actually that they think we're just annoying, not snobs. ;-)
Aww, I'm sure your MIL is just excited. Last time, my MIL made a little hat and bought a stuffed animal and mailed it to us like the same week we told her the news. This time she hasn't been as crazy, she just brought an entire bag of...size 6-9 month girl clothes...which I find rather inexplicable because I told her that my NEWBORN outfits were all worn out, and I definitely said WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE HAVING. I really don't understand it at all, so I hope she just found a really great steal of a garage sale or something. If YOU want to get some of the firsts, go ahead and do it, and put YOUR outfit on the baby first. But I have to agree, she's saving you loads of money so just have fun with it.
@ottilie - oh no, that's miserable. Besides being sick, you have one serious hormone cocktail going on in that body right now...you're still nursing, right? That's a lot. I'm glad your mum is on her way to make everything all better! Yeah, I know, I didn't think about "wear and tear" either until the doctor said it! I thought it was just because I'm over 30 this time :-P
@trintri - Okay, you've clinched it. I'm definitely calling my chiropractor ASAP!

Oh Ottilie, I hope you get feeling better soon! That is no fun to deal with at all
Congrats to everyone who has found out the gender recently So many boys here!
I've been feeling under the weather for the past three days. Fever, aching, and a constant headache. All I want to do is sleep for hours on end. I'm hoping to be over it by the weekend because Jonathan and I are going on a little getaway together and I will be bummed if I am sick the whole time
On the up side, I finally felt Baby Chicken moving around. Although my doctor said everything looked fine, I had still been stressing over not feeling him move yet.Step-Mother to three lovely children - Josiah Lewis (14), Stella Evangeline (8), and Emma Catherine (4)
