Iker, Ansel, Julien, Remy, Jax, Blaise, Atlas, Liam, Javier

We're expecting our first baby and we have a few girl options figured out (those are easy): Camille Violeta or Paloma Echo. Boy names are much more difficult for us. Here are a few details:

    Dad: From Barcelona
Mom: from Austin (raising our family here)

Family culture (bilingual): full of musicians, technologists, poets/philosophers, book editors, and professors.

Iker (pronounced the spanish way... Ee-kehr)
    Ansel
    Julien
    Remy
    Jax
Blaise or Blas (named after his Spaniard grandfather Blas who was a hell of a man)
    Atlas
    Liam
    Javier

I voted Julien, but I prefer the spelling Julian. My second choice would be Liam. And 3rd would be Blaise.

The one I think would not work at all is Iker due to the pronunciation you want. Most Americans will likely say it eye-ker,

The others just aren't my style.

I don't speak Spanish so I have no idea what works in Spanish and what doesn't. However, I love these as possible brothers for Camille Violeta or Paloma Echo (which are lovely, by the way):

    Julien
    Blaise
    Atlas
    Javier

Will the middle name come from this list as well? If so, I really like Blaise Javier or Julien Atlas.

I like Javier! Blas is nice because it honors his grandfather, but I'm not a huge fan of the name Blaise. Maybe Blas or Blaise as a middle name would work?
