    Help me eliminate some names

This is what my list has morphed into the past week. As I posted in another thread, I'm still not sure if I should consider names that begin with the letter "H". Our last names begins with "H" and I'm not sure I like the alliteration.

    Dean

    Victor

    Garrett

    Grey

    Hayes

    Hart

    Hugo

    Frederick

    Bram

    Wade

How many syllables is the last name? Of the H names, I only like Hugo anyway. Hart and Hayes sound like surnames to me, which I'm not big on. I like almost all of your other names, except Wade. So yes, Hart Hayes and Wade are the ones I would eliminate.
    Cassia | Phoebe | Emmeline | Matilda | Oona | Sylvie | Dahlia | Rosalind | Vivienne | Miranda
    Milo | Emmett | Sebastian | Theodore | Lucian | Rafferty | Matteo | Vincent | Donovan | Wesley

I agree it would depend on how many syllables your last name is.
I'm not overly fond of Hayes anyway but it could work.
Grey is one I'm not fond of and it seems sort of loaded.
if you don't like alliteration get rid of the H's.

    My favorites are:
    Frederick
    Garrett
    Victor

    I would keep:
    Bram
    Dean
Wade (This seems Southern to me, but that's your choice)

    I like
Hart and Hugo. Hayes is growing on me. I watch Bones which was created by a man who calls himself or was born with the name (not sure which)
    Hart Hanson.

    Good Luck!
