    I used to prefer Leila, but nowadays I think that Layla is more clear. I have a friend who just named her baby Laila pronounced Lila, so I'm appreciating the clarity of Layla if that is what you are going for.

    And I vastly (****vastly****) prefer Lila to Lyla. Not sure why, but I have a really negative reaction to Lyla.

    I like Leila because it is the most classic, less trendy, and is just beautiful. I pronounce it LAY-la though.

    Leila would be more naturally pronounced like Leela, in my opinion.
