    Oh, and I wanted to add...
    Someone said Harper Lee doesn't even go by Harper, but the truth is that Harper isn't her first name. Her full name is Nelle Harper Lee. I don't know what her friends and family call her, but she obviously likes Harper well enough to go by it professionally.

    I think Harper is a gorgeous name! I do however feel that is it becoming too popular (most likely due to the Beckham's).

    I generally don't like many names that fall in this category - with Harlow and Monroe being major exceptions. I did used to like Harper, but that has now faded to a slight dislike. However, if it's your absolute favourite girls name, you shouldn't worry what anyone else thinks.

    Sorry but I really dislike it.

    Firstly the Harpy connection - and secondly it sounds to me like a person who is always harping on (incessantly whinging - not sure if it's just Australian slang or worldwide) about something.
