    I know someone with this as their surname (well, it's O'H, but close enough) and I struggle to see it as a given name, sorry. I don't think it's got the prettiest sound to it, I think it would be better as a middle name if anything.

    I like it. It's been hovering on my list for some time now. You pronounce it the way I do, no clue if that's right but it seems logical to me. I think a Halloran would fit right in with his peers.
