OK, so I know it doesn't end in an A, but I saw this and just had to suggest Arden! The first thing I thought of when I saw Ilyria is that it is the name of the city where Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' is set. I adore Shakespeare names, and the idea of two Shakespeare place names is just too much to resist - Arden is the forest of sanctuary in 'As You Like It'. Couldn't resist!

Our theme for boys names is having them end in N and I would totally do Arden for a boy! Also kudos for knowing the history of Ilyria! I've loved it since I was 12 and read Twelfth Night!

    I'm going to suggest Arcadia:

Illyria: Ancient region in Macedonia and country in Twelfth Night
Arcadia: Region in Greece and a Utopia in ancient Greece featured in many myths

Love Illyria by the way, it's one of my daughter's middle names.
