    I wouldn't use a nickname. I would use Catherine.

I am a Kathryn, so Erin is not in the spelling of my name...I have been called Cupcate, Kate, Katie, Katie Did, Kat, Kit, Kit Kat, Kai...

Beside the usual nicknames, I heard of a Catherine that went by Thrin. I also came up with my own spunky nn - Cathers. My favorite pre-established nn of Catherine though, is Cath or Cathy.

Cate/Cait/Kate is my favorite. I think Kit Kat or just Kit or just Kat are really cute. I think Erin totally works, its unique! It's spelled out right there in CathERINe so I don't see why you couldn't use it. People stretch things much farther than that. Makes more sense to me than the suggestion of Wren.

Kitty and Cat are my favourite nicknames for Catherine. I think Erin could work, though it is a bit of a stretch.
