Names for Senia's possible brother.
I also posted a thread in the girls section
We have a 2 year old girl called Senia Hero and we're expecting our next baby on the 3rd September. We dont have many boys names that stand out to us so we need more help with the boys, for sure!
Some names we like:
Oliver - Too common though?
Like our girls names list, many of our boys names end with the same sound as Senia's name which is something we're not keen on. We love all of these names but we need some inspiration!
So what do you think of our current list, and do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Senia's such a great and unique name, that you really need something to match it. Oliver and Evander both feel too common to match it. Luther sounds like a bad guy (Lex Luther). Alaric is a name that would need some time to grow on me... Lionel makes me think of polyester, love songs, and cheap cologne... all mixed with the 80s (perhaps due to Lionel Ritchie). Calder is ok... I'm on the fence. Dante, Eben (a truly underused gem of a name), and Ames all fit the bill in my mind... but it completely depends on your surname (what it begins with, the final sound, and the #of syllables).
I'd go old-school (ancient) for a brother:
August/ Augustus/ Augustine
Alexander (although a bit too common)
Caelum (Kai lum Latin for "sky")

Names I love, but cannot use:
Soren Pasha, Caspian Bardia, Caspar Siavash, Elias Rostam, Simon Kasra
Valentina Parvaneh, Rosalind Tala, Viola Katayoun

I agree with @tfzolghadr completely, Oliver and Evander seem too common next to your daughters name. Eben, Alaric, Dante & Ames are all great with Senia. Ames is interesting, do you pronounce it like James but without the J? I like it!
Olivier (this is a good alternative to Oliver)
Have you considered any of your middles as firsts? I think Atlas & Abel would make great first names & they work well with Senia.Mum to:
Fable Arizona & Amity Seraphina (2010)
