    Nina or Ines?

Which do you prefer and why?

I vote Nina because it has cosy Russian feel and all the Ninas I know are lovely girls/women. I would love Ines if it was in the form of Agnes or Inna.

Nina, it was my favourite name as a child and I still have a soft spot for it now. I like the sound of it, it's strong without being masculine but clearly feminine without being overly-frilly. It's more familiar without being popular or trendy.

Ines. Nina feels to be like a word for "little girl" (niña in Spanish, menina in Portuguese).
