    Gus

Do you think Gus can stand alone as a first name?
I do like some of its longer versions but somehow I feel like Gus loses its charm when it is just a nickname.

    What do you think?

I agree, and love Gus more than any of the full names that usually go with it.

I think it can stand on its own, especially with a longer/weightier middle name.

I have a friend named Gus and he always wore it well. That being said, I actually don't like it as a stand-alone name myself.
