    How about Lyra?
Uses the "Y" and spelled with a Y originally.

Though the Y in Lyla doesn't seem out of place to me.
Possibles for our DD due in October...but we can't agree on which one/combo will fit. DH is from Dublin. I'm from L.A. We have an Aine (5) & a Patrick (2).

I LOVE Lila! (And the suggestion of Lyra!) I would go with either one of those personally, but not Lyla. It looks really kre8tiv to me.

    Good luck!

I prefer Lila but I think that Lyla would go better with the rest of your family.

    Congratulations and good luck!!!

Because of how you spelt Sydney, I would go with Lyla. (Plus that iis also my favorite spelling.)
