    Mirabelle

What do you think of Mirabelle? DBF approves, and we both love the nn's Mira and Belle. Our other favorite names are Aurora and Lydia for a girl and Theodore (Theo), Elliott, (I probably wouldn't use Mirabelle and Elliott together, though) and Nicholas for a boy. My combo is Mirabelle Vivian. Vivian is my middle name and I was named after my paternal grandmother and my maternal great-grandmother, so I really want to keep Vivian as a tradition for girls in the family. Thanks!

I think it's charming. I never noticed it until I read Steve Martin's book Shop Girl. It was the main character's name who was a sweet, shy, artistic young woman which is exactly what I picture a Mirabelle to be like.

I think it's lovely! Always been a fan. How are you pronouncing it?
