Sailor, for sure. I love, LOVE this name. It's a family name, an honor name, and it has a beautiful, breezy sound. I love the imagery and the connotations of travel and adventure. Unfortunately every time I've floated this name on NB I've been told it's trashy. Sigh.

I also adore Waldo, Winifred, Polly, Baxter, Ursula, Valentine, Hester, Mordecai, Thisbe, Mabel, Salome, Sylvester, Hollis and Darwin. I love Morgan, Sasha, and Dove on a boy. And I would totally use Roscoe and Wallace and Marigold. Haters to the left.
Simon Valor | Eloise Lily | Judah Sage | Thea Marina | Felix Orion | Iris Cordelia | Roscoe Benjamin | Lydia Wren | Jasper Conroy | Phaedra Naomi | Adrian Bruno | Lucinda 'Indie' Jane | Wallace Finnegan | Sylvie Winifred | Charles 'Charlie' Elliot | Juniper Faye | Julian 'Jules' Atlas | Matilda Sailor | Marlowe Charles | Alice Elizabeth | Jack Mariner | Marigold 'Maggie' Susan

Just a grad student, dreaming ahead...

I really like Sybil, even though people tell me that I shouldn't name a child after a character with mental problems.
