Cal as a nn for Malcolm???

Can you see Cal working as a nn for Malcolm? I love the sound of Cal and have been crushing on Malcolm lately so I was wondering if anyone else thinks this would work or if it's just me becuase I want it to work.

I don't see it as the most intuitive nn, but why not? I think Mac, Cole, and Colm are much simpler...

I agree. I love Cole and Colm. Do you not like Callum, Callen, Calvin to get to Cal?

But the letters are all there, and you can pretty much do whatever you want.

Callister is one of your favorite names and you want to use Cal as a nickname for Malcolm?
