Thread: Vivia?

  1. #11
Can someone explain how this would be pronounced? When I look at it I see Vee-vee-ah (kind of like Aviva) but it's supposed to be pronounced like Vih-vee-ah?

Never heard it before, but I like it very much! People may mistakenly assume it's a typo of Vivian, but who cares? It's beautiful. Plus, you said it's a family name, right? I think it would be worth the risk! Also, Vivia Evangeline is V heavy, but not in a bad way. I think it flows well. Alliteration doesn't have to be a negative.

I'm not sure where I stand. I do like the nn Vivi, but I'm not terribly fond of Vivian itself. Vivia does feel very incomplete to me, but I love Lilia essentially as much as I love Lillian, so I don't know why I feel that way! I agree, though--Vivia Evangeline is quite "V" heavy, but Vivia Emmeline might be nice, and Vivia Grace is sweet.
