Siblings for Connor and Claire
Hello all! I need some help coming up with sibling names for Connor Joseph and Claire Elisabeth. Last name is Egan. I tend to like Irish-sounding names for boys, classic/feminine names for girls, and surname-y names for both. I happen to really like a lot of C names, but I don't necessarily want to go down that route with the entire sibset. What are your favorite boy and girl names from my list below? I also would love new suggestions!
Emmeline (NN Emmy)
Emilia (NN Emmy)
Eloise (NN Elsie)

My favourites are Emma, Louisa and Madeline. (Connor, Claire and Emma would be lovely)
From the boys, I like Henry, Lachlan, Callum and Jack.
And a few suggestions (I think another C name would be cute):
Hope it was any help!
Caroline. 22 year old from Brazil.

With the surname of Egan, I would avoid any name with a pronounced "ee" sound (Liam, Cecily, Eloise, Emilia, Audrey) or that ends in a similar way (Lachlan, Ryan, Nolan, Declan). That's the trouble with Irish names - most of them end in the same way as Egan. Your surname begins with a vowel so it's a difficult name to work with because many first names run into it (especially ones that end in consonants).
From your list, I like...
Miles (this name runs into the surname but that's obviously not a deal-breaker if you already have a Connor and Claire. Stylistically, it's a great "fit").
Jack (has the same fn and ln blending but Jack Egan sounds so cool)
