    Yes, too close. Two two-syllable names that start in R and end in y? My tongue would get tripped up introducing them to people. I also hate Rory on a girl as a full name. Twins are already going to be compared to each other in so many ways, you don't need to giving them matching names too.

    If they're b/b, they both start with R, end in an "ee" sound, have 2 syllables, and the emphasis on the same syllable. That's way too close.

    If they're g/g, same problem and the boyish Rory and lush, feminine Ruby are sexually dissonant.

    WAY too close for me! BUT I do have nieces, not twins, named Nora and Nina. So I say as long you plan on only having 2 kids, it's fine, but it's definitely not something I would do.
