    How do you pronounce Helena?

This name is in our top 3, and has gotten a lot of berry support. But I'm wondering, how does everyone pronounce it? I'm curious if most people pronounce it the way we do (HELL-en-uh) or if there is a lot of variation.

    Thanks!

I voted HELL en uh, because that's what I like best and think it should be. But in all honesty, my mind jumps quickly between that ans hell AY nuh trying to decide. I think both are nice, though

I like Helen-uh best, but I always wait to hear how the parents say it! I am friends with a couple with a Huh Lee Nuh who are very sensitive about the multiple pronunciation thing!

I like both HELL-uh-nuh and hell-AY-nuh, but I'd instinctively use HELL-uh-nuh, I think. However, if I were told it was hell-AY-nuh, I'd remember and always use that one.

I hear "HELL-un-uh" more but I actually prefer "heh-LAY-nuh" pronunciation. I have never heard anyone use the third pronunciation before...

Sorry for any random spellings. I'm probably on my nook!
