Feels very feminine to me. Berries are sweet treat and i guess that connotation doesn't make it very masculine....

    Barry- old man
    Berry- toddler girl

However, when I hear it aloud, I think old man. After all, they're pronounced the same, and Barry is more common.

Girl. Barry sounds quite different to me. My associations are feminine because most flower & fruit names are feminine.
