Oh, and I forgot Let The Right One In! I haven't seen the American remake but I'm told it was actually good.

What's everyone looking forward to this summer? I can't wait for Joss Whedon's version of Much Ado About Nothing. Gotta respect a guy who adapts Shakespeare in his backyard for fun. I also want to see What Maisie Knew and Stoker, but alas, they're still limited release and not playing anywhere in DC yet.

Can I just say what truly awesome taste berries have - pretty much every single one of my favourites has already been mentioned!

    Love, Actually
Pride and Prejudice (1995 & 2005 - they both rock and no one will ever make me choose between Colin Firth and Matthew MacFadyen)
All of the LoTR films, ditto HP
    Brief Encounter
    Moulin Rouge
    The King's Speech
    Pirates of the Caribbean
Les Miserables (the book and the musical win every single time, but the film was pretty epic if you apply a Russell Crowe filter)
    Four Weddings and a Funeral
    Gone with the Wind
    Notting Hill
    The Hobbit
Sense and Sensibility (both the 1995 film and the 2008 mini-series)
Monty Python's Life of Brian, or really any Python at all
    The Princess Bride
    Bridget Jones' Diary

And then there's Disney, some of my favourites being The Lion King, Tangled and Peter Pan.

So basically, anything written by Richard Curtis, adapted from an Austen novel or featuring impromptu outbursts of song.
