Erm, I'm not a huge movie person, but lately, my two favorites are Olympus Has Fallen and the new Star Trek movie. Over the years, I've loved:

While You Were Sleeping (still probably my favorite)
    A Cinderella Story
    Becoming Jane
    The Narnia movies
Pretty much any Jane Austen novel.
    RED
    Two Weeks Notice
    Leap Year
    August Rush
The Sound of Music (gah, I watched this religiously as a child!)
    The Importance of Being Earnest
    The Scarlet Pimpernel
The Hunger Games (I admit it! I'm such a dork. :/)
    The Holiday
    Step Up
The Avengers (And Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk, and Thor, and Captain America... guilty!)
    Battle: Los Angeles
Spiderman (the new one, with Andrew Garfield!)
All the President's Men (I was a writing major, and a history buff--what do you expect? )
    Gettysburg
    The Patriot
    Johnny Tremain
    Knight and Day
    The Proposal
    The Back-Up Plan

Usually I love the super-ooy-gooey romantic movies, but lately I've been in an action sort of mood.

ETA: I don't know how I missed Sherlock Holmes (seriously! They need to make a third one!), Ever After, Ella Enchanted... I'll probably edit again to add. Many times.

I should be writing book words but I'm doing this instead! A lot of them I could second (esp the two Python's Otter mentioned, Pan's Labyrinth, Saving Private Ryan, Sherlock Holmes and Shawshank) but here are some others I heart:

    Pride and Prejudice (BBC 1995)
Casanova (BBC 2005) Watch it without crying and/or falling in love with Giac, I dare you

    Ever After
    The Emperor's New Groove
Shakespeare in Love (Godawful title, sensational film)
    Moulin Rouge
    The Notebook
    The Prestige
    Howl's Moving Castle

    and...

Bring It On. (What can I say... even my brother loves this one...)

I'm gonna end up editing this post so many times because I will keep thinking of more...

Fly Away Home (One of my favourites ever, I don't even know why...not a big time movie but stars Anna Paquin at 13)
    Sherlock Holmes
    The King's Speech
    Rain Man
    The Notebook
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Yep )
    Mary Poppins (Ditto Chitty Chitty)
The Pirates of the Carribbean movies, particularly the 1st and 3rd for some reason
    The Notebook
Spirited Away (Although it creeps me out no end)
The Princess Bride (I agree the book was better; its one of my favourite books ever)
    The Hobbit
    Hugo
Closet Land (Small Indie movie but made a huge impact on me)

That's all I can remember for now, haha
