    Getting close and no contenders!

    Hi berries:

This is my first time posting; I'm fairly new to the site. I'm due beginning of July, and so far have been totally stuck. Not sure of the gender, but I'm pretty sure it's a boy (we're more confident with girl names anyway.)

I'm really struggling to find even ONE boy name I like. Here's a few I've thrown around, but don't seem quite right:
    Emrys
    Theo
August (with the nickname Gus) **this is probably my fave right now but hubs doesn't like it much.

Our last name is pronounced "Turner" (but spelled with far more vowels). So the name shouldn't end in "er". Davis is likely to be the middle name (a family name - although hubs wants this as the first name, I really don't want him to be called Dave for short.)

I don't care for C names (Callum, Caden, etc.) or the trendy ones making the rounds (Felix, Atlas, X names - Knox, Pax, etc., Jasper, Sebastian, etc). I guess I like classic with a twist...not that that narrows it down much. Oh, and our daughter's name is Isla Noelle, so it should complement that I suppose!

I hope I'm not being too ridiculous or picky. Any suggestions would be appreciated so very much...

    Thank you!

I like Emrys. August doesn't really go with Turner... it will slur to become Augusturner. I'd stay away from names ending in -t/-tt to go with your surname. Also, if you choose Davis as the mn... that means the surname and the mn both have 2 syllables. For the sake of flow, I'd recommend a 1 or 3+ syllable first name (not ending with an -s, -er, -d, or -t/-tt)...
