    I've considered it too, because I'm fascinated with the American Colonial period and I like the sound of Paul Revere, but I just can't make myself like Revere alone. It sounds a bit feminine to me, and is too much of a verb.

    Agreed. I love the namesake, and I love that it's also a verb. It's a unique, interesting name, while still sounding quite intelligent and worldly...

    I like it as a MN, but not so much as a FN. I do appreciate the connection to Paul though, gives it something a little extra.

    Very nice name for a boy. It's a strong name, so I see someone with that name being very rugged and brawny.
