I LOVE Hailey and yes, this is my preferred spelling. This name is definitely on my long list

I knew two Hailey's (different spellings, can't remember which) and heard of another one growing up, so I don't see that as a lot at all. It's a cute, spunky and sweet name. If you love it, use it!

I think Hailey is a really beautiful and sweet name and if you love it you should definitely go for it! Concerning popularity, I think that the name is decreasing in popularity but still not so far past popularity that it would be dated. In contrast, in a decade or so, Haven will probably be more dated. I like both names though!

Hailey is popular and follows a couple of hot trends: (1) it has two favourite sounds en vogue ("ay" & "ee" ending for girls); (2) it's a surname. I prefer Hailey or Haley spellings because I also have an aversion to y's in names. I think it has a pretty sound but it does sound cutesy to me. I can't see it aging well but then again we're going to have a lot of grandmothers named Hailey in the next 50 years or so. Haven has the popular "ay" sound as well as ending in "n" like so many popular names today (especially for boys). It's also a celebrity child name so I would stick with Hailey.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I don't like Haven, but I dislike Hailey more. It's just so very dated.
