I pronounce it "ah-MAH-lee" and I think most English speakers would pronounce it the same way. However, I believe the German pronunciation would include the final "e" so it would be "ah-MAH-lee-uh".
    All the best,

I was thinking ah-MAH-lee (almost like ah-Molly), too. The proper French pronunciation for Amelie is close to ah-MILL-ee (or ah-MAY-lee--it varies on the region of France), so ah-Molly makes a lot of sense to me.

Amalie I would say like A-may-lee. Amelie is more popular and I say it like Am-Ellie.
