Names with associations a male would appreciate...

My hubby & I can not agree on boys names!

He's admitted to me he either likes or dislikes a name based on what ever association he has from it (ie he likes Quentin because it makes him think of Quentin Tarantino his fave director, he likes Hendrix because he's a Jimi Hendrix fan etc etc etc). I however, choose names more on how they sound or make me feel...

He's a 31 yr old adult male who loves all things to do with cars, motorcycles, motorsport of any kind, classic rock (think the 1970s), video games, movies with action & blood (his faves are Resevoir Dogs & Clockwork Orange), but isn't a big sports fan... what names can you think of that are good names that i might like, that still have an association that might appeal to him???

For reference, he loves our girls names because Rosalie is after his grandmother Rose, and Abby reminds him of Abby off NCIS who he happily admits he's got a bit of a crush on

    Help?!

Cars I am helpless with...Does Dodge or Chevy work? Look up classic car names...actually Lincoln is pretty awesome and it has the car connection. Detroit is a kind of cool middle and it goes with the car-history thing.

Classic Rock- Nash, Crosby, Dylan, Floyd, ect. I don't know what specific bands he likes, but check out their wiki pages for member's surnames, album & song titles, record label's (Arista & Decca make pretty girl names!), and what city they formed in.

Movies- Clarence & Alabama from True Romance if he likes Tarentino! I would search thru character names. Tarentino is influenced by so many crazy old movies...maybe just fill your nexflix queue with a bunch of 1970s movies and check out those names. Beyond Tarentino I think the name Quentin feels so stuffy & preppy- not at all the feeling that his movies give me.

    Names my husband loves:
    Ulysses
    Cassius
    Maxim
    Gideon

Maybe those are good 'guy' names??
