Favorite R Name: Poll: Part 2

I previously made a thread stating my favorite R names for boys and asking for opinions.

These were the names on the list:

    Rafferty (floodtide, abundance, prosperity)
    Rainier (wise army))
    Raphael (God has healed)
    Raymond (wise protector)
    Roscoe (deer forest)
    Rudolph (famous wolf)
    Rune (secret)
    Rupert (bright fame)

    I've been able to eliminate:

Raymond (because of: Everybody loves Raymond)
    Rudolph (because of: the Reindeer)
Rune (because: it's apparently a fathers name)

    Stil in the Poll:

Rafferty (jovial and happy. It would be strong young and old.)
Rainier (ADORE. I feel strength in Rainier.)
Raphael (I'm not that religious. It feels perhaps too close to God.)
Roscoe (It doesn't feel substantial enough at times. Reminds me of Costco.)
Rupert (It feels like the weaker Robert.)

These are all my opinions and views on the names. My views have been changing more recently because of the comments from everyone. Please don't be offended.

    Please vote again. Thanks.

I voted Rainier, as that's my favorite of the ones listed as they are. However, I love the simple Ross, and if it had been Ross instead of Roscoe, that would have won my vote (and heart!) in a second.

Still voting for Rupert. I'd like to argue that instead of being a "weaker Robert", Rupert is distinctive, familiar-yet-uncommon and handsome! I also love the meaning, and the nickname Ru/Rue.

    Girls - decided!
Boys - Arthur - Desmond - Edmund - Edwin - Frederick - so hard to choose!
