    hello! any ideas of how to get to Hattie as a nickname besides Harriet or Henrietta?

    Whoops, you already mentioned Henrietta. :P I actually think that Hattie can stand on its own.

    ETA: Wild card choice, but what about Hatfield? A surname choice with a tragic history, Hattie is a natural short form.

    You could do Hadley? With the nickname, Haddie. It sounds almost identical. What do you think?
