    And he likes.....

So I showed my list of names to my boyfriend and let him choose which he liked. Of course I like the names since I picked them. But narrowing the list down he chose almost three. They are....

    Aurora Orchid AND
    September Rose
Would these two work as a sib set and which combo do you like better?

He liked Ruby but did not like Poet as a middle. Is Ruby becoming too popular? The only reason I am attached to Ruby is because my mother gave me and my two sisters a gem name based on our personalities. I happened to be the Ruby.

Any other combos would be greatly appreciated as well. If anything comes to mind! My biggest thing is having a child with a usable yet different type name.

Thank you guys for being so patient.

I like both of your combos. They are very unique but really pretty at the same time. However, Aurora Orchid is too much "or" sound for me. I love Ruby! It is climbing in popularity (at 106-almost in the top 100! :/). I think if you are looking for more unique names, I would avoid Ruby. Maybe as a middle name? September Ruby is a little word-ish but I kinda like it.

Does your DH completely not like Poet? I think it would be a good mn for Aurora.

    Some random suggestions:
    Evening
    Magnolia
    Nova
    Celestia
    Wisteria
    Astoria

    Good luck!
Boys: Maxwell, Bennett, Oliver, Elliott and Archer.

Girls: Rose, Juliet, Aria, Cora and Scarlett

Sorry for any random spellings. I'm probably on my nook!

I like Aurora and September as siblings Ruby goes well with both, too, and I love the special meaning for you.

I am not crazy about September with Rose, I think it sounds too descriptive for a noun middle...like September Rose is a type of Rose. I would use something like...
    September Claire
    September Luna
    September Alice
    September Phoebe
    September Rowena
    September Lenore
    September Rosmerta

I also think Ruby September would be gorgeous.

    Other Ruby combos...
    Ruby Tessa
    Ruby Cordelia
    Ruby Annora
    Ruby Francesca
    Ruby Helena
    Ruby Natasha
    Ruby Evangeline
    Ruby Ursula
    Ruby Jacqueline
    Ruby Margot
    Ruby Esther
    Ruby Hermione

    Other suggestions:
    Tempest
    Wren
    Lavender
    Jules
    Octavia
    Calypso
    Lyra
    Maeve
    Clementine
    Isadora
    Danica
    Calliope
    Melisande
    Cosima
    January
    Valentine
    Avril
    Lorelei
    Ginger
    Guinevere
    Elowen
    Waverly
    Eudora
    Astrid
    Flora
    Winter

September Ruby/Rose is very nice same as Aurora Rose/Orchid

September and Aurora could make a nice sib set-

for me personally i would go in with both names and after a few days with the new born pick one of the two from the list.

But if you want to pick one name now i think Aurora is the nicest and has the best meaning and connotation to me- i'm also not so keen on the potential nn Sept for September.. but thats really splitting hairs both are nice

In Australia Ruby is very popular i think at one point is was the number 1 girls name- so i cant really say how popular it is in your area. Maybe ask people who work with lots of kids? like with the receptionist at your doctors, anyone who works with newborns or babes..
