Suitable siblings for a female Forest?

DH is 100% set on Forest, nn Estie if we should ever have a girl. I'm completely on board except for wondering where do you go after Forest? Would a word name be too much of a theme or would it help to balance the gender issue of the name?

If you had a daughter named Forest, what would you name her brother or sister?

I think you could go with some (subtle, so it isn't tacky) word names or spunky offbeat names. I think non-trendy unisex names on girls would work well, too. And with boys, I think you could go with some more traditional options, too.

    GIRLS
    Penrose (Penny, Rosey, Posey)
    Kit
    Winslow (Winnie, Lola)
Hesper (maybe a bit close to Estie)
    Ember
    Marin or Maret/Merrit
    Peridot
Abbott (nn Abby) or Alcott (Allie)
    Auden
    Adair (Addie, Ada)
    Beryl
Campbell (Cam, Bell or Bella, Ellie)
    Piper
    Tamsin
    Aravis
    Zadie
    Rumer
    Joss

    BOYS
    Morrow
    Wade
    Marshall, Marston, Marsden (nn Mars?)
    Augustine
    Cormac
    Dashiell (Dash)
    Rafe or Rafferty
Garrett or Barrett (Bear or Rhett)
    Orion or Orson (nn Bear)
    Griffith
    March
    Penn
    Duncan
    Langdon
    Archer
    Winslow

Such great suggestions! A few are way off base for me personally as I'm a simple names (Anna, Iris, etc.) kind of gal, but they work really well with Forest. And my DH is a bit quirky so...

I'm pleasantly surprised you mentioned Morrow. I had contemplated that one earlier today but as a girl's name.

Winslow is so handsome! I can't see it on a girl, but I couldn't see Forest on a girl either. It is a wonderful suggestion regardless of gender.

    Thank you!
