    I can't say I like it as a name. I think Leo has a nicer sound. As for animal names, I'd prefer Fox or Wolf, but they're all quite bold.

    No. I would use Leon or Leo, but...eh. I'm not a fan of Lion.

    One of the previous posters mentioned Lev! I love Lev! I would chose a name that means lion, but no, I would not name a child Lion.

    btw Actor Alex O'Loughlin recently named his son Lion. He has a son named Spike too!
    I laughed out loud when I heard it. I never took him for one of those crazy celebrities that would burden his child with such awful names.
