Does Lachlan rhyme too much with my last name?

    Lachlan Cockran

What do you think? I had scratched Lachlan from my list because I feel like it's too rhymey. But after saying it a few times, it kinda flows better than some other names on my list. (Can I just say my last name is annoying!) I don't know what to think now. Does it sound ridiculous? Am I just fooling myself into thinking it's ok? It's one of my favorite names, but that isn't a good enough reason to saddle my son with a crazy sounding name. I really appreciate any feedback!

Yes it rhymes but it's not the worst combination in the world.

Unfortunately, both syllables rhyme (Lach and Cock as well as Lan and Ran) so I would advise against choosing it.
    All the best,

Yeah, I thought it was probably bad. I've just had such a hard time finding boy names that I'm not just neutral about, so I thought I'd see what the general consensus was. Thanks for the replies! And renrose, thanks for giving me some hope ;-)
