Frederick nn Fred/Freddie very cute on a little one but he will grow into his more grown up name. Reuben is very wearable- I know a toddler and a grown up with this name, quite popular in the uk i believe- i love the meaning of this name also
Samuel is easy to wear but I guess you are worried about it being popular? it's a classic though so I wouldn't worry too much if you love it. (I prefer Reuben myself )
Wallace is on my list, as is Earnest- and I too worry about the wearability of these , but if old fashioned names are back for girls, why not for boys also?

Reuben- very wearable, complete with 2 great nns: Roo and Ben.
Lionel- I just picture Lionel Ritchie...
Frederick- Love. Rick, Erick, Derick, Fred and Freddie are great for a kid, and he can grow into his full name.
Earnest- I had a coworker once with this name... I like it for its uniqueness, although I might put it as a mn.
Abram- Love. I've known a few Abrams in my life, all of whom went by Abe (and all were 80s babies). I love the nn Abe, and think it's quite wearable.
Samuel- A bit too common.
Clement- Just never liked it.
Wallace- Love Wallace, but hate Wally.
