    I don't think it's dated. I have a little girl called Amy. Her name is Amy-Louise. She's 18 months old. I also know a Amie Jane who is nearly 3.

    I'm not a big fan of Amy, and I do consider it pretty dated. To me it feels like a very Ho-Hum name. Perhaps a more unusual middle name could give it an interest factor.
