Oh I think Forest is a darling idea for a mn. I also love that your husband feels that it's so right, and nn Estie really sold me on the name.
I'd probably look for fn options that you like that start with E - just like your pick Eliza Forest.
I also like these for nn Estie.

What a sweet story to pass on to a future daughter. I'm partial to Forest on a girl, because I'm descended from a woman who sounds pretty neat from the family stories passed down. Her name was Ida Forest, and apparently that's what she was called, rather than just Ida. I agree that fun and spunky firsts with Forest in the middle sounds wonderful, but I also think it works as a first, paired with a decidedly feminine middle. Estie. It's cute.Lσreℓei Oη∂iηe ● Octαviα єoωƴη Sσℓ ● ℘etrα Leσcα∂iα Siℓver ● Suηηivα ωiℓℓoω ● Ƭɦisbe ωiℓ∂rσse
