    Gillian is a great name - it has a lovely soft g sound at the beginning, a strong presence in print, and is familiar but not too popular.

    My favorite of your combos is Gillian Fiona.
    I like simple yet versatile names that work well for the athlete, the comic, the genius, and the judge.

    I like Gillian, though it is slightly dated. I do think it works better with Fiona than the other two you listed, andseems less dated.
