I think either name is beautiful. So, my advice is to leave it be. I love Margot!

I love Margot Beatrice. One of my good friends named a daughter Beatrice and they are far from posh, and come to think of it her husband is also German. Go with your gut and trust your instinct, but I wouldn't worry that the name is anything but lovely.

I really love Margot Beatrice! Margot Elizabeth is very nice as well. I think you did a great job naming though, I really do! I don't think it feels try-hard at all. I think it's 2 older names, not-quite classics but sort of, slightly hipstery but not totally hipstery, strong feminine names!

What is it with all the Beatrice naming regret on NB? Talk to Ottilie!

I don't think of Beatrice as a trendy hipster name at all.
It's so elegant, but so is Elizabeth. Tough choice.
I rather like "MEW" as a nickname, but beyond that Beatrice has the edge for me.
