Thread: Name clashing

  1. #1

Name clashing - name ends with an -a, surname start with an -a

Does it clashes if I name my child Brigitta(censored)?

My faves are Melisende, Amelina, Mabel... etc. I might use an -a ending name, just want to see how it sound with my surname
    Does Brigitta (censored) clashes?

    (censored) is surname.

I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing the middle name properly but I do get a bit of rhyme feel from it. I think Dahlia works better with it over Brigitta.

I don't think the "a" sounds run together too much, if that's what you are asking. It's not as bad as, for example, Jack Cook, where the sounds mesh together. I'm pronouncing your last name with the "a" as in "apple" and the ending of most of your names as "ah." So I don't think it clashes.
