Thanks Casilayne. I love Cecelia too. I'm not crazy about CeCe as a nn, but I do like Cealy. I also really like Mae, and even Maeve, with Hal. My concern is that my first name also contains the name "Mae" within it, and then my name and my daughter's name would be too similar. What are your feelings about that? Example: Father is Matthew, Son is Matt; or Mother is Lilly, Daughter is Lillian. Also, I didn't include this in my original post, but it is really important to me that we don't call our child by their middle name. So maybe Maeve Cecilia instead of Cecilia Mae? Thanks again. And I agree, Mae is perfect for the south!

OK- I think my original post was way too long. I'm going to shut it down and repost more specific questions else where. Thanks again Casilayne and Penelope83!
