Hey Andie, thank you! I was just coming on to post an update!

It took about an hour and it was done by the tech, not the perinatal doc, but that was what I expected. Luckily, she was obviously very experienced and knew exactly what she was doing and was semi-chatty/friendly. Baby Girl looks absolutely perfect! The spine, the brain, the heart, the kidneys, everything was exactly how it should be. I do have an anterior placenta so that's probably why I haven't felt anything yet but maybe in another couple weeks. She had a little trouble clearly seeing my cervix so she switched to a tvu for that (ick) and then said that looks absolutely perfect too - in fact, she said I have a "Super Cervix"! Ha, I told my hubby I want that on a t-shirt

We are just so incredibly happy and relieved. Feels like quite a weight off my shoulders, at least for now. Because I do take an anti-depressant (an SSRI), the perinatal doc said he would like me to come back in 6 weeks for another specialist to do an echo on the baby's heart. I haven't heard of that before and I'm a little surprised since he said everything looked perfect but I do understand the small increased risk of heart issues with SSRI's. I am more than happy to have it done and to have peace of mind that all looks good! But I was really worried about Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and he said today we can rule that out - WHEW....

Now if only my skin would clear up, I'd be back to my normal, happy self! ;-) Thanks for the good wishes everyone, i hope you are all doing well and feeling good too!

Great news, Christine! We're really moving along here, I just realized I'm less than three weeks from viability. It is a reassuring milestone for me. I don't know why, really, but it's all starting to feel like everything might just be fine!
